Join MISO’s Operations Support Engineering (OSE) team as a Senior Engineer II (Energy Market Systems) - the group that supports Day-Ahead and Real-Time market operations. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with EMS tools in the control room to help keep power flowing reliably and efficiently. As a Senior Engineer, you will develop and maintain the Energy and Ancillary Services Market, creating innovative solutions to operational challenges. Your work directly impacts grid reliability as you help optimize next-day energy plans using SCUC for unit commitment and SCED for real-time dispatch. We’re looking for engineers with EMS experience, strong power-systems fundamentals, SQL and Python proficiency, and familiarity with market architecture and NERC/FERC guidelines.
