Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. ADI combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world. With revenue of more than $9 billion in FY24 and approximately 24,000 people globally, ADI ensures today's innovators stay Ahead of What's Possible™. This role participates in product development activities related to the design and development of state-of-the art integrated semiconductor products in areas including precision analog circuit design, mixed-signal design and verification, integrated power analog design or digital circuit design. The engineer will design analog or digital circuits and chip level integrations considering design yield, and design testability. They will apply knowledge of system level and block level circuitry simulation and modelling to design new circuits or techniques. The role involves analyzing data from the evaluation of silicon design and performing verification of circuits and ICs using advanced mixed-signal techniques to ensure functionality, accuracy, and reliability of design against specifications. Determining at the block level, technical feasibility of design approach and block specifications for new product development is also a key responsibility. Documentation of design specifications, preparation of technical reports and test plans and instructions, and presentation of design review documentation at peer review meetings are required. The engineer will evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated circuit problems for designs in the lab and perform functional and performance testing. Evaluating silicon on bench, identifying deviations and performing troubleshooting of design bugs, to provide recommended solutions and implement corrective actions are crucial. The role also involves working with layout engineers to review physical design layouts and make recommendations to characterize new and existing designs. Finally, the engineer will lead and coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams, including test, product and applications engineering to successfully bring new products from initial concept through production release.
