About The Position

Phillips Lytle is seeking to expand its talent within its Energy and Renewables Practice. The firm has an excellent reputation and a roster of high-profile clients including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. The Energy and Renewables Team is looking to hire a senior attorney with eight or more years of experience handling regulatory matters related to the energy sector. Candidates should have experience practicing before a state public utility commission and/or handling issues involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Energy, and/or New York Independent System Operator (or other similar Regional Transmission Organization). Prior work experience within the government or at a utility or energy company is a plus, but not required. Ideal candidates will have portable business and a demonstrated ability to originate and maintain strong client relationships. Requirements
