POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Endpoint Administrator serves as a critical technical leader responsible for the security, scalability, performance, and lifecycle management of enterprise endpoint environments across Windows and Apple platforms. This role owns endpoint governance, compliance, automation, deployment, patching, and modern workplace technologies that directly impact workforce productivity, operational resilience, and regulatory readiness. Leveraging AI as a force multiplier, the position accelerates decision-making, improves service quality, enhances operational scale, and increases automation effectiveness. Operating within Empower’s hyper-growth, highly regulated 503A/503B environment, the role partners across Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Service Operations to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient endpoint services. Requirements

  • Advanced expertise administering Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, Windows 10/11, macOS, Autopilot, endpoint deployment technologies, and enterprise device lifecycle management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance management, vulnerability remediation, patch management, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and enterprise governance practices.
  • Advanced automation and scripting capabilities utilizing PowerShell and related technologies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, service quality, and endpoint administration effectiveness.
  • Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools, analytics, and automation platforms to improve decision-making, accelerate problem resolution, enhance productivity, and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize enterprise endpoint platforms across Windows and macOS environments, including Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, and Autopilot. Execute endpoint configuration, policy management, deployment, compliance monitoring, and lifecycle activities that support secure, scalable operations. Leverage AI-enabled insights and automation capabilities to improve service quality, accelerate issue resolution, enhance decision-making, and increase operational efficiency while maintaining alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute end-to-end device lifecycle processes including provisioning, imaging, deployment, onboarding, refresh planning, retirement, and asset governance activities. Ensure devices are deployed securely, efficiently, and consistently while maintaining compliance with established standards. Utilize automation, workflow optimization, and AI-assisted operational tools to reduce manual effort, improve deployment speed, increase accuracy, and support workforce productivity across a rapidly growing enterprise environment.
  • Manage application packaging, deployment, maintenance, updates, and retirement activities across supported endpoint platforms. Ensure software availability, compatibility, performance, and compliance while minimizing business disruption and operational risk. Apply automation, analytics, and AI-enabled operational capabilities to improve deployment success rates, identify issues proactively, streamline software delivery processes, and enhance the overall end-user technology experience at scale.
  • Maintain endpoint security controls, compliance standards, vulnerability remediation activities, and endpoint protection capabilities across the enterprise environment. Execute security policies, monitor compliance status, support audit readiness, and partner with cybersecurity teams to address identified risks. Utilize AI-driven analytics and automation tools to improve threat visibility, accelerate remediation efforts, strengthen security posture, and support ongoing regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Administer enterprise patch management processes for operating systems, applications, and endpoint technologies. Coordinate testing, deployment, validation, and remediation activities to ensure timely patch implementation while minimizing operational impact. Leverage automation platforms, predictive insights, and AI-assisted prioritization to improve deployment effectiveness, reduce vulnerabilities, strengthen endpoint reliability, and maintain a secure and compliant technology environment.
  • Develop, document, and enhance operational procedures, technical standards, runbooks, and support documentation that improve consistency, scalability, and service maturity. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and strengthen operational controls. Apply data-driven analysis, automation capabilities, and AI-enabled recommendations to improve productivity, reduce recurring issues, and support continuous improvement across endpoint management operations.
  • Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 endpoint support for complex technical issues impacting end users, devices, and endpoint services. Perform root cause analysis, implement sustainable solutions, and restore service with urgency and precision. Utilize AI-enabled troubleshooting tools and operational insights to accelerate diagnosis, improve resolution quality, reduce downtime, and enhance the overall support experience.
  • Support endpoint integration with infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, networking, identity, and collaboration platforms. Partner with cross-functional technology teams to ensure endpoint services remain secure, connected, reliable, and scalable. Contribute technical expertise to modernization initiatives while leveraging automation and AI-assisted analysis to improve interoperability, performance, and operational effectiveness across enterprise technology environments.
  • Serve as a trusted endpoint subject matter expert by providing technical guidance, mentoring support personnel, and promoting knowledge transfer across IT Operations teams. Maintain comprehensive documentation, support resources, and operational knowledge repositories that improve organizational effectiveness. Leverage AI-enabled knowledge management capabilities to enhance information accessibility, accelerate issue resolution, and support continuous learning and technical excellence.
