About The Position

The Boeing Company's Production System Training (PST) team is seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist to join their Boeing, Defense Space and Security (BDS) organization in Ridley Park, PA. This role involves acting as a technical instructor, with a focus on Rotorcraft Structures, mechanical and Electrical systems and installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instruction, experience supporting multiple military programs, and expertise in overseeing production, quality, and delivery for the Ridley Park production system.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in teaching, coaching, and developing others.
3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance/manufacturing.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Deliver technical training in formal classroom, lab environments, and ship-side.
Administer written and practical (skills) assessments in accordance with curriculum design and process requirements.
Record and maintain training records in an authorized repository.
Provide technical (composites) training and coaching to individuals requiring enhanced skills training.
Assist engineering, quality, and manufacturing with assembly process training improvements.
Use precision instruments, pneumatic and hand tools, and teach accurate measurements.
Demonstrate extensive ability to read, interpret, and describe Engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Identify potential issues that impact performance.
Provide feedback on assessment results and identify opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
Analyze and interpret defect data.
Develop training recommendations for the reduction of operator-caused defects.
Perform ongoing monitoring of customer's operating environment and key business measures and objectives.
Partner with PST teams to develop and/or update training curriculum.
Support BDS, Boeing Global Services (BGS), and Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) sites as needed.
Capable of covering variable shifts, as required to support the business.
