About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist – Delivery and Facilitation to join their Learning and Development (L&D) team. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the learning and development profession
  • 5+ years of experience conducting leadership training for executives and managerial level employees
  • 5+ years of experience in the corporate learning industry
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience as a manager or senior manager
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience training in aerospace
  • 5+ years of experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environment
  • Experience in project or program management
  • Experience in a role that required you to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and present information in a clear and concise manner

Responsibilities

  • Utilize key training strategies, including brainstorming, processing checks, role-plays, simulations, case studies, and practice sessions to enhance learning effectiveness
  • Demonstrate credibility and accountability by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Boeing's culture and values, using real-life examples to reinforce training
  • Pursue Boeing Values in a meaningful, observable, and measurable way
  • Monitor and evaluate learner performance, providing valuable insights to improve training delivery, while managing learner preparation, delivery, and rostering per business requirements
  • Achieve measurable outcomes and deliver results through high-impact practice and inclusive excellence
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of leadership training programs through learner feedback, performance evaluations, and post-training assessments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training programs with organizational goals and strategic objectives
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to help learners adapt to new processes and organizational changes
  • Participate and/or facilitate faculty development, including train-the-trainer sessions, feedback sessions, and monitor classroom performance
  • Manage challenging training situations, such as disruptive learner behaviors and complex/sensitive aerospace industry topics, using appropriate levels of intervention
  • Experience in design and development of training curriculum and materials
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous development of training and facilitation skills
