About The Position
ENSCO Avionics is seeking embedded Software Engineers to support a local customer and contribute to modern aircraft. The role develops and maintains software for flight and mission systems, works with legacy code to modernize systems and add features, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware. It also involves writing clean, efficient code and troubleshooting complex issues in legacy and real-time systems. The position is on-site and regular full-time, contingent upon contract award and customer approval.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience writing and troubleshooting Fortran, Ada, or C code.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program access.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704.
