About The Position
ENSCO Avionics is seeking embedded Software Engineers to support a local customer and contribute to the development and modernization of software for today's aircraft. The role involves developing and maintaining software for flight and mission systems, working with legacy code bases to modernize them and add features, and integrating software with hardware alongside cross-functional teams. Engineers will write and maintain clean, efficient code and troubleshoot complex issues in legacy and real-time systems. The position is contingent upon both contract award and customer approval.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience writing and troubleshooting Fortran, Ada, or C code.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program access.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704.
