About The Position

Applied Intuition is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support firmware for vehicle platforms. The role integrates vendor components across controllers and subsystems within a safety-critical software architecture, ensuring reliable communication over hardware interfaces. It involves implementing RTOS applications and developing high-quality C/C++ firmware for real-time, deterministic, safety-critical embedded systems. The engineer will support hardware bring-up and low-level debugging of boards and SoCs, help bring up and produce firmware on new devices, and maintain correct operation across subsystems. The role also implements safety-critical functionality such as fault detection, automated responses, watchdogs, inter-controller coordination, and system validation and debugging. It provides technical leadership for platform safety by coordinating the design, implementation, and validation of safety-critical firmware across subsystems. Applied Intuition is an in-office company. Full-time employees are expected to work primarily from an Applied Intuition office five days a week, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments. This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions.
