The Senior Electronics Technician will adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety and quality requirements. This role performs advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex systems, focusing on electrical, electronic, and control components such as PLCs, sensors, relays, drives, HMIs, and servo systems. The technician will utilize diagnostic tools, electrical schematics, and control logic for root cause analysis, and may modify or upgrade existing control systems and equipment. This position works closely with Manufacturing Engineers to implement design changes and process improvements, and leads preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical and electronic systems. The role involves developing and executing testing methods for electrical and control systems, interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. The technician will support new equipment qualification and debugging, ensuring proper functionality and integration of control systems. They will act as a primary liaison for service contractors and vendors related to control systems, automation hardware, and instrumentation, and communicate investigation and repair status to stakeholders. The role includes monitoring equipment performance, identifying and correcting control or electrical issues, and designing, recommending, and installing equipment or control system enhancements. Additionally, the Senior Electronics Technician will train peers and production personnel, support compliance efforts, and document all maintenance activities in the CMMS.
