About The Position

Our Space & Defense - Power & Data team is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to help design and develop electronic hardware solutions for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will work closely with engineering leaders, customers, and suppliers to develop innovative products from concept through implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 5 years of experience developing electronic hardware products and systems
• Demonstrated experience designing electronic hardware products and bringing designs from concept through testing and implementation
• Familiarity with one or more areas including circuit design, PCB development, embedded hardware, system integration, or hardware verification
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of electronic hardware design experience, specifically in circuit design

Responsibilities

• Design hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Conduct hardware integration, verification, troubleshooting, and testing
• Support technical project planning, including proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and design reviews
• Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements
• Develop engineering test requirements and unit-, subsystem-, and system-level test plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle
• Contribute to the development of new technologies, products, and processes that meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives
