About The Position

Falcata’s Products Solutions (PS) Group is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on the design, development, and testing of mixed-signal, embedded, real-time hardware systems. The engineer will develop mixed-signal hardware boards and systems involving RF (20 MHz–8,000 MHz), digital hardware, embedded microcontrollers, and FPGAs. The role also develops and executes test infrastructure, scripts, and test cases for hardware and software products using industry-standard test automation frameworks and tools. The position supports rapid new-product development, including development that leverages technology across Falcata, incorporates commercial products and capabilities, and creates new designs as needed. The team is responsible for rapid development, demonstration, initial product rollout, and operational updates and upgrades to meet changing customer requirements. The engineer works across product development and deployment phases, accounting for evolving requirements, hardware, software and mechanical integration dependencies, field testing, and configuration management. The role designs and implements testing approaches for a product line with varying features and levels of maturity.
