Senior Electronics / Avionics Technician

GE AerospaceClearwater, FL

About The Position

This is a hands-on technical role supporting the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex electronic and electro-mechanical avionics hardware in a production and MRO environment. The position focuses on bench-level execution, using established procedures and technical documentation—not engineering design or software development. This role is ideal for experienced electronics or avionics technicians who enjoy working directly with hardware, supporting production flow, and solving complex technical issues on the shop floor. At GE Aerospace, we believe the world works better when it flies. As part of our Clearwater team, you will support advanced avionics systems used on commercial and military aircraft, including the Boeing 737/787 and platforms such as the F-18, F-35, Harrier, and Apache. You’ll work in a climate-controlled, OSHA VPP Star-certified facility alongside skilled technicians, manufacturing engineers, and test engineers to keep production and repair operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. This is a technician career path role, offering long-term growth opportunities within operations, technical leadership, and training.
