Job Summary Acts as lead technician performing professional level technical work and leads other technicians performing the installation, operation, repair, programming, overhaul and maintenance of a wide variety of electronic equipment for communications, traffic signal control, flood control, water pumping stations or related electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation for the City of Dallas. Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Job Description Overview The Senior Electronic Technician acts at a lead level delivering technical work and guides other technicians performing the installation, operation, repair, programming, overhaul and maintenance of a wide variety of electronic equipment for communications, traffic signal control, flood control, water pumping stations or related electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation. for the City of Dallas properties and industrial facilities in accordance with federal, state, and city codes and in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC) adopted by TDLR.
