About The Position

Ironclad Defense Works is seeking a Senior Electromagnetic Operations & Electromagnetic Warfare (EMO/EW) Capability Development SME to support NATO Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia. This position will support development of NATO EMO/EW capabilities across the entire DOTMLPFI lifecycle and provide operational expertise to NATO Joint Effects capability-development efforts. This role requires a professional who will combine operational EMO/EW expertise with military capability development, requirements management, multinational coordination, and program-management experience.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent military-college qualification in engineering, information systems, computer science, project management, business administration, or related field; or bachelor’s degree plus five years of relevant experience.
  • At least three years of recent senior-leader briefing experience.
  • At least five years of operational EMO/EW knowledge within the past 12 years at Tactical or Joint level.
  • Relevant expertise may include JICO, multi-interface tactical data links, NAVWAR, Precision Navigation and Timing, or Battlespace Spectrum Management.
  • At least two years of program/project-management experience in military capability development.
  • At least two years of multinational or NATO experience and familiarity with NATO Agencies.
  • ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE FROM U.S. OR NATO MEMBER NATION REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Support development of NATO EMO/EW capability products across DOTMLPFI.
  • Support Joint Effects program-management activities.
  • Develop and maintain capability, operational, system, and interoperability requirements.
  • Support EMO/EW doctrine, policies, directives, concepts, CONOPS, and courses of action.
  • Coordinate capability development and implementation across lifecycle activities.
  • Engage NATO Agencies, national militaries, Centers of Excellence, academia, and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain EMO/EW program status information and support capability validation.
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices.
  • Support workshops, seminars, meetings, conferences, and multinational engagements.
  • Provide analysis and decision support to senior EMO/EW program leadership.
