About The Position

This role is directly embedded within our custom automated equipment builds, where you’ll support the electrical integration of complex, one‑of‑a‑kind automation systems. You’ll work hands‑on with engineered equipment—from initial assembly and wiring through debugging and commissioning—playing a critical role in bringing advanced manufacturing solutions to life for our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.
  • Strong expertise in electrical schematic interpretation, troubleshooting, panel building, and machine wiring.
  • The ability to wire equipment according to NEC standards and diagnose complex wiring issues.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including giving direction, managing performance, mentoring, and holding team members accountable.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety, quality, and timely project execution.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Project Management, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements (bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Personal hand tools and toolbox suitable for the role.

  • A journeyman’s card or related vocational education (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering during concept, design, and print reviews to ensure smooth print release and assembly.
  • Plan, organize, and control the electrical assembly process—including budgets, schedules, materials, and WIP expectations.
  • Work cross‑functionally with all departments through every phase of the project, including debug and runoff.
  • Keep project teams informed on workload, timelines, material status, issues, and budget considerations.
  • Identify and drive best practices, cost‑saving opportunities, and process improvements within the electrical team.
  • Lead and mentor team members by providing daily direction, supporting skill development, conducting performance reviews, and establishing clear expectations.
  • Assist the Electrical Manager in developing the team through leadership, training, accountability, and positive engagement.
  • Support quoting activities by providing input on concepts, hours, and material costs.
  • Serve as the top technical expert in your discipline, identifying and addressing concerns early.
  • Coordinate equipment teardown, installation, and sequencing to support successful builds and shipments.
  • Uphold company standards for safety, quality, documentation, and customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure proper communication of changes, issues, and project risks.
