Develop and maintain ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test software for a factory/production environment which exercises and analyzes hardware deliverable products. Develop and maintain ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test fixtures through circuit design, cable design, connector strategies, and top-level fixture design. Work closely with a PCB and mechanical designers, reviewing designs and participating in design reviews. Support cradle to grave efforts including requirements, design, integration, validation, verification, and maintenance of test hardware and software. Design high quality solutions that meet cost and schedule targets. High focus on DFM/DFS standards (Design for Manufacturability / Design for Serviceability). Troubleshoot software and hardware as part of an integration team. Communicate effectively with global engineering, operations, service and program leadership.
