Senior Electrical Power Design Engineer

General Motors•Sunnyvale, CA
•$106,600 - $163,400

About The Position

General Motors’ Compute & Connectivity Hardware (CCH) organization develops the physical hardware foundation for software-defined vehicles, including compute, connectivity, networking, displays, and other electronic platforms. CCH collaborates across software, systems, controls, cybersecurity, functional safety, vehicle engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing to develop production-ready hardware. The Senior Electrical Power Design Engineer will join the Power Center of Excellence, which delivers robust, efficient, and reliable power architectures for advanced vehicle functionality. The role leads the design, development, validation, and integration of power delivery solutions across GM’s electronic control unit portfolio. The engineer will apply power electronics expertise to resolve complex technical challenges, support GM’s electrification and software-defined vehicle strategies, establish engineering standards, and influence cross-functional hardware architecture decisions.
