About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves leading design efforts for electrical systems, managing multiple concurrent projects, and ensuring adherence to budget and schedule controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical/energy codes and standards, proficiency in electrical modeling software, and a proven track record in the power industry. This position offers the opportunity to lead inter-disciplinary projects and contribute to overall office goals.

Requirements

• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings
• Must be familiar with electrical/energy codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, etc.)
• Must have SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software experience.
• The focus of the experience must be in the power industry associated with electrical engineering and design of Industrial, higher education, healthcare, federal government and/or commercial projects.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to travel.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in Electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (required)
• 10 to 15 years of experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Project Management experience and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lighting design is desired, but not required.
• Experience with Telecom, A/V, Cybersecurity, and security designs is desired, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint software preferred.
• Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams.
• Local AHJ experience and relationships is a plus.
• Active local industry involvement is a plus.
