As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design of innovative electrical systems for complex projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and build client relationships within a people-first culture that values professional growth and engineering excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the MEP industry, ideally healthcare experience (or similar projects)
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam, REVIT, SKM Power tools/ETAP/Easy Power, and AGI32 software
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and coordinate with production staff
  • Promotes positive attitude and image
  • Possesses excellent motivational skills
  • Shows fairness and consistency; is decisive
  • Shows good judgement and reasoning ability
  • Takes initiative to set goals and works purposefully to achieve them
  • Exhibits effective interpersonal skills (speaking, writing, and listening)

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally with experience in healthcare design
  • Professional Engineer Licensure is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power tools, and electrical modeling software
  • Power design of medium and low voltage, including panel schedules, layout, circuiting, and controls
  • Perform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordinator studies
  • Design of electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systems
  • Design of lighting systems
  • Develop electrical specifications and construction cost estimates
  • Conduct periodic job site observations and quality control tasks
  • Communication with project leads, clients, and contractors
