As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design of innovative electrical systems for complex projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and build client relationships within a people-first culture that values professional growth and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the MEP industry, ideally healthcare experience (or similar projects)
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam, REVIT, SKM Power tools/ETAP/Easy Power, and AGI32 software
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines and coordinate with production staff
- Promotes positive attitude and image
- Possesses excellent motivational skills
- Shows fairness and consistency; is decisive
- Shows good judgement and reasoning ability
- Takes initiative to set goals and works purposefully to achieve them
- Exhibits effective interpersonal skills (speaking, writing, and listening)
Nice To Haves
- Ideally with experience in healthcare design
- Professional Engineer Licensure is preferred
Responsibilities
- Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power tools, and electrical modeling software
- Power design of medium and low voltage, including panel schedules, layout, circuiting, and controls
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordinator studies
- Design of electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systems
- Design of lighting systems
- Develop electrical specifications and construction cost estimates
- Conduct periodic job site observations and quality control tasks
- Communication with project leads, clients, and contractors
