The primary objective of this role is to provide Electrical Engineering support and contribute to a variety of clients projects within the minerals and fertilizer processing industry. The role also involves managing the provision of services so that they meet project scope, schedule and budget requirements and meet or exceed the expectations of the client.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering
• 4 years plus experience – trade experience will be well considered.
• Leadership and reporting experience.
• Excellent communication/people skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and instrumentation design and calculations in accordance with the relevant project requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals and estimation of man-hour budgets.
• Manage projects within budget and time constraints.
• Supervise and provide assistance to drafting staff.
• Preparation of Scope of Work Documentation.
• Provide construction technical support for clients as required.
• Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the relevant Quality Assurance system.
• Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Business Unit. Understand and follow safety procedures
