About The Position

The Senior Electrical Engineer defines product requirements, translates requirements to implementable architectures, performs detailed design work, and ensures the end product is optimized for manufacturability. This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design projects, conduct design analysis on components and assemblies to ensure designs meet technical requirements, are cost-efficient, manufacturable, and reliable. They will perform detailed electronic design of microcontroller and microprocessor-based platforms and related analog/digital circuits, including drawing circuits using schematic CAD tools and simulation. The role involves gathering technical data, preparing technical documents, maintaining organized design artifacts, completing projects within budget and schedule, communicating with other engineers, preparing proposal documentation, contributing to electrical design best practices, mentoring electrical engineers, and assisting in developing ECOs. All employees are expected to support and drive core values, lead, deliver consistently, never stand still, create relationships, interact positively, maintain attendance, perform work safely, and complete required training.
