Senior Electrical Engineer

PDW•Huntsville, AL

About The Position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will contribute to system and tool development for upcoming product lines and a variety of sUAS systems. The role assists with architectural design, parts selection, validation test design, and oversight of hardware and software development cycles. The successful candidate will work in an innovative, fast-paced environment, responding to problems as they arise and delivering thoughtfully designed, adaptable systems. The position typically operates in a standard office and manufacturing environment, with cross-departmental collaboration and both independent and team-based responsibilities. It may involve occasional travel to test sites, customer locations, or supplier facilities, and exposure to loud noise, heat, cold, dust, chemicals, outdoor weather, and non-climate-controlled environments. PPE may be required depending on the environment. Standard work hours are 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime as operational needs demand. Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, climbing, and moving about regularly, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. The role requires manual dexterity to operate electronic test and fabrication equipment and standard office equipment, as well as the ability to tolerate loud noise, heat, cold, dust, or chemicals while using PPE as needed.
