About The Position

The Senior Electrical Engineer is a key member of NTT Global Data Centers’ Global Design Standards team. The role translates Owner Project Requirements for the NTT GID Design Product into the Global Reference Design, provides regional engineering guidance for localization and deployment by third-party architects and engineers, and supports project design reviews throughout design and delivery. The engineer works with internal business functions, the NTT Product team, regional design delivery teams, and design managers, consulting with Engineering, Expansion, Construction, Operations, Product, and Sales teams to assess risks and opportunities and make effective design decisions. Working closely with the Technical Director of Global Design Standards, the role advances efficiency, innovation, speed to market, and predictable adoption of design practices and procedures, and supports team workload planning, prioritization, and development. The role leads complex electrical engineering work for data center infrastructure, provides technical review and guidance, mentors engineers, and contributes to design development, system optimization, and continuous improvement. It requires deep expertise in electrical systems and calculations, data center infrastructure, commissioning, specifications, and operational engineering. The position is expected to work primarily remotely, with field work and travel as needed, including occasional meetings outside typical regional business hours.
