About The Position

This role requires a Senior Electrical Engineer with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. The engineer will be responsible for developing drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical systems and equipment in various complex facilities. A broad understanding of electrical engineering design principles and strong knowledge of electrical systems are essential, along with proficiency in power systems load modeling and analysis.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
• Relevant experience developing drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical systems and equipment in nuclear or industrial process facilities, data centers, central utility plants, or complex building electrical systems.
• Ability to effectively use engineering and office automation tools.
• Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards.
• Broad understanding of electrical engineering design principles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems as they relate to the responsibilities listed above.
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings, systems calculations, equipment sizing, and cable sizing.
• Proficiency in power systems load modeling and analysis.
• 6 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
