Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited university, ideally with a Power Engineering focus.
  • 6+ years of experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Expertise in regulatory and industry codes/standards connected to the petroleum sector within the United States.
  • Accomplished professional with strong expertise in U.S. oil and gas regulatory requirements, industry codes, and standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of power systems, modeling, pipeline operations, pump stations, terminal facilities, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and leveraging tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe Creative Suite, and SKM.

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering leadership and technical support for Liquids Pipelines (LP) operations across the U.S.
  • Lead technical discussions, resolve complex engineering issues, and drive reliability improvements.
  • Support Engineering Services initiatives aligned with LP strategic objectives and the Long Range Planning (LRP) cycle.
  • Mentor, develop, and support Operations Engineering team members and technical specialists.
  • Identify and advance new technology opportunities while ensuring compliance with Enbridge standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage regulatory information requests and audits while championing Enbridge’s values of safety, integrity, inclusion, respect, and high performance.
