About The Position

This position will report to a Principal or designee level staff member. Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Ability to lead project team(s) and execute projects on time, within budget, and with a high degree of quality. Interface with clients as required to meet project goals and deadlines. Have technical capability to mentor team members in the execution of their duties. Work activities will include Forensic investigation of equipment failures. Design and analyze equipment and systems in power plants and buildings. Design instrument test loops to evaluate component failure cause. Instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis of equipment and structures. Evaluate materials and composition of electrical components and systems for application suitability. Write technical reports without supervision. Can-do attitude, self-motivated and able to perform requirements with minimal guidance. Must be willing to work at and able to be badged at commercial nuclear facilities. Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 8+ years’ experience.
  • Possess EIT certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, with efficient use of Microsoft products.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances at a commercial nuclear plant.
  • Ability to travel to customer or project sites, which may include weekends.
  • Can-do attitude, self-motivated and able to perform requirements with minimal guidance.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed professional engineer preferred.
