About The Position
CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of experience in consulting engineering and a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering, preferably with experience in Healthcare, Higher Education, and/or K12. The role involves designing the electrical aspects of energy-efficient buildings and infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This position requires a self-motivated, client-focused leader responsible for electrical design, project management, client relations, and staff mentoring.
Requirements
- 8+ years in Consulting Engineering
- Strong technical background in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
- Massachusetts PE license
- Project Management (internal/external)
- MEP design and specifications
- Client & Architect relationship management
- Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Power Distribution, Lighting, Energy, and Renewable Energy Systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Healthcare, Higher Education and/or K12
- Experience in Commercial sectors
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design (power distribution, lighting, controls, emergency power, UPS, renewable energy, fire alarm, low-voltage, etc.) for bidding and construction
- Manage internal/external design and construction projects
- Prepare/interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with owners, clients, architects, and contractors
- Participate in business development activities
- Mentor and guide staff engineers
