About The Position

The role and impactAs a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager is located at Topsoe’s manufacturing site. You will be responsible for leading and managing all environmental, health, safety, process safety, risk management, property protection, and facility security activities for the Bayport site. This position ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company standards and policies. The role serves as a key resource to site leadership and plant personnel, providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and operational support to promote regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Requirements

• B.S. in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering and are related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing an EHS function within a manufacturing, chemical or refiner environment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, including air, water and waste management.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and process safety managements systems.
• Familiarity with emissions testing programs safety management systems.

Nice To Haves

• Certification preferred in CSOP and/or CIH preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with regulatory agencies, plant leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
