About The Position

As the EHS Leader at our Sistersville, West Virginia manufacturing site, you will play a critical role in protecting people, the environment, and the business within a large, complex operation. You’ll have full ownership of Environmental, Health, Safety, and site security for a workforce of more than 400 employees and contractors, leading and mentoring a highly skilled team of eight EHS professionals. In this visible, site wide leadership role, you’ll set the strategy for environmental compliance, occupational health, safety performance, and security, driving a proactive safety culture, strong regulatory excellence, and continuous improvement across all operations. Please note that this role requires onsite presence five days per week, Monday through Friday Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Requirements

  • BS Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 15+ years’ EHS experience in chemical/industrial environment.
  • 3+ years’ experience in the chemical industry
  • Demonstrates strong personal leadership.
  • Delivered sustainable results in improving EH&S performance in their career.
  • Strong influencing and decision-making skills; ability to coach all levels of the site organization.
  • Proven experience creating an empowered culture.
  • Excellent communications skills with both internal and external personnel.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and drive significant performance and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own all EHS management systems at the Sistersville site—driving standards, processes, performance metrics, and key initiatives.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, partnering closely with site leadership to deliver meaningful, lasting improvements.
  • Protect and strengthen the site’s license to operate by ensuring top-tier EHS performance, compliance, and community trust.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, EPA), building strong, credible relationships.
  • Bring global best practices to life locally—leveraging company resources to continuously elevate site performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team while influencing EHS ownership and behaviors across the broader site.
  • Ensure EHS standards, procedures, and training are clear, effective, and consistently executed across all functions.
  • Oversee and ensure strong execution of EHS-related Management of Change (MOC) processes.
  • Drive incident reduction by leading investigations and embedding learnings through structured root cause analysis.
  • Operate as a key member of the site leadership team, partnering across functions and reporting to the Americas EHS Director.
