About The Position
BizTech Fusion is seeking an experienced Senior EHR QA Test Lead/Manager for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare application testing, data migration validation, ETL testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder reporting. This role requires ensuring that EHR workflows, data migration activities, SaaS configuration changes, interfaces, and vendor releases meet business, clinical, regulatory, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 11+ years of experience as a QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager.
- 11+ years of experience in data validation, data migration, and ETL testing.
- 11+ years of experience leading functional testing across EHR modules.
- 11+ years of experience validating healthcare data migration and legacy system conversions.
- 11+ years of experience coordinating interface testing and data integrations.
- 11+ years of experience creating test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and QA documentation.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, or similar test management tools.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong experience with EHR or Healthcare SaaS platforms.
- Experience coordinating testing activities across vendors and cross-functional teams.
- 8+ years of experience supporting EHR implementations involving clinical, pharmacy, and billing workflows.
- 6+ years of experience with healthcare data standards including HL7, FHIR, CCD/A, ICD, and CPT.
- 6+ years of experience with HIPAA, healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting government or public-sector healthcare projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution for a large-scale EHR SaaS implementation.
- Develop and maintain QA governance, testing strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
- Act as the primary QA contact for project leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Report testing progress, risks, quality metrics, and defect status.
- Manage the complete defect lifecycle from identification through resolution.
- Lead validation testing for data migration from legacy EHR and ancillary systems.
- Validate patient, clinical, pharmacy, billing, and historical data for completeness and accuracy.
- Review ETL processes, data mapping documents, validation rules, and reconciliation reports.
- Perform interface testing and validate inbound/outbound data feeds.
- Lead functional testing across clinical, scheduling, documentation, medication, orders, and billing modules.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Partner with business users and SMEs to develop test scenarios and UAT test cases.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and testing documentation.
- Track testing activities using Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, or similar tools.
- Support both manual and automated testing efforts.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, audit requirements, and QA standards.
