Senior Educator - Educational Leader
About The Position
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position for a Senior Educator - Educational Leader at Goodstart Wantirna. The role is ideal for an experienced Senior Educator looking to expand their influence beyond their immediate room and develop centre-wide leadership capabilities. The position involves collaborating with educators to observe, review, and enhance educational programs, deepening the team's understanding of child development and early years content, and guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. The Educational Leader will work closely with the centre leadership team to drive transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice across four age-based learning environments: Nursery, toddler, and two funded kindergarten rooms. The centre is a 120-place facility with a stable, high-performing team. The role focuses on leading continuous improvement and curriculum excellence.
Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current VIC Working with Children Check
- Previous experience leading change in education
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education), a Diploma qualification or ACECQA approved equivalent

Responsibilities
- Lead change, and champion practice uplift and excellence across all four learning environments.
