About The Position

Experian Health is seeking a Senior EDI Analyst to join their Patient Access Curator team. This role will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing the performance of the product set. The analyst will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external members to ensure product, service, and delivery excellence. This position offers the opportunity to participate in client meetings to define EDI solution requirements, determine solution feasibility with partners, and leverage product and technical expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management processes to provide strategic vision and support decision-making and escalation processes. The role involves in-depth analysis of eligibility information, development of data models, identification of potential issues or improvements, and creation of search strategies for EDI and web-based transactions. The analyst will also host working sessions with trading partners, vendors, and clients, investigate existing options to meet business or technical requirements, and translate user requests into technical specifications for developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle Experience is required
• 5+ years experience as an EDI analyst, business analyst, implementation, or client/payer-side (payer or hospital/health system) experience in healthcare revenue cycle management software and technology required.
• Knowledge of EDI protocols and standards, specifically 270/271 healthcare transactions required.
• Understanding X12 message/file formats and transactions required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with prospects and clients to define the detailed requirements or technical requirements for EDI solutions.
• Determine solution feasibility with company partners.
• Use product knowledge, technical expertise, and business knowledge in revenue cycle management processes to provide an appropriate strategic vision for decision-making, assessing and escalation process.
• In-depth analysis of past/present eligibility information in text and builds comparable data models.
• Look for possible issues or improvements with valid response data.
• Develop search strategies for using EDI and web-based transactions.
• Host external working sessions with trading partners, vendors and clients.
• Investigate pre-existing options to satisfy business or technical requirements and makes recommendations, to reduce one-off effort and duplication.
• Translate user or business requests into technical form for developer or IT comprehension to be vetted with Product Owner.
