About The Position

A large, privately-held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies is seeking a Senior Eclipse Applications Programmer to join the Eclipse Systems team at its National Support Center. The company operates in a decentralized environment where each location, called a Profit Center (PC), is run by a Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical PC includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom, and operates under a unique trade name tailored to its local marketplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
  • 7+ years of experience with Epicor Eclipse, using Solar and eTerm
  • 7+ years of experience with Eclipse Basic or similar programming language

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications including reports to meet operational needs
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and correct invalid data caused by system errors, user input, or programming issues to ensure data integrity and reliability
  • Design, code, test, and deploy software applications based on business requirements
  • Update and optimize existing programs to improve functionality and resolve issues
  • Design and create reports using Report Writer tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine system requirements
  • Track and resolve support issues, provide timely updates, and ensure proper prioritization
  • Review, test, document, and deploy approved configuration changes, maintaining accurate tracking records
  • Identify and correct data errors while investigating root causes
  • Follow established procedures for software changes and releases
  • Complete required safety and compliance training programs
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned
