This role provides L2/L3 functional and technical support for Epicor ERP environments. The position involves troubleshooting day-to-day ERP issues, identifying root causes, and configuring/optimizing Epicor modules across various business functions including Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Engineering, Scheduling, MRP, and Order Management. The role also analyzes existing business processes for improvement opportunities, supports post-implementation stabilization and ongoing ERP enhancements, and collaborates with IT and business teams to resolve application, integration, performance, and data issues. Additionally, the role participates in new Epicor implementations, upgrades, migrations, and rollouts, including analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, testing, and deploying solutions. It supports upgrades across different Epicor versions (9, 10.x, Kinetic/11), system conversions, and legacy ERP modernization. The role requires developing technical specifications, implementation documentation, and providing user training. The ideal candidate will have experience with over 45 Epicor installations/upgrades and work across multiple Epicor generations. The role also involves developing and maintaining Epicor customizations, including screen and form customizations, BPMs, BAQs, BAMs, Dashboards, Business Processes, Global Alerts, and Shop Warnings. Integration development using REST APIs, Service Connect, SSIS, and other technologies is also a key responsibility, along with working with C#, VB.NET, and .NET technologies, and supporting Product Configurator and other technical components. Reporting and analytics include developing and maintaining Crystal Reports and SSRS reports, creating complex queries, calculated fields, cross-tab reports, subreports, and developing dashboards and KPI/business-metric reporting. The role supports Microsoft SQL Server and Progress databases, performing SQL administration, indexing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting database and application performance issues. It also supports high availability, disaster recovery, and system continuity initiatives. The role works with manufacturing organizations to optimize ERP-supported business processes, supporting Manufacturing, MRP, Job Management, Engineering, Scheduling, Shop Floor/MES, Inventory, Purchasing, Order Fulfillment, and Barcode/handheld solutions. Integration with warehouse, shipping, MES, and other manufacturing systems is required, along with identifying opportunities for operational efficiency through ERP automation. Project management responsibilities include leading or participating in Epicor implementation and enhancement projects, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables, and working with stakeholders across all organizational levels. The role applies structured SDLC and project-management methodologies and manages vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will operate independently as a senior technical-functional SME and work directly with client business and IT leadership.
