About The Position

Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Senior Echocardiographer to join their team. This position involves performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures including Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiograms, and Doppler ultrasounds. The Echocardiographer will work in various settings such as the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, Operating Room, ICU, and also provide patient care at the bedside.

Requirements

3 years of experience required
Basic Life Support Required
Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Echo Tech experience in lieu of education

Responsibilities

Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests
Perform Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram
