About The Position

This role requires expertise in Esri ArcGIS, technical proficiency in geospatial tools, platform management, and the ability to develop and document best practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop test plans, and possess excellent communication skills. Prior experience in the railroad industry is advantageous. The contractor must provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop will be provided.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x, ArcGIS Pro 3.x, and related extensions.
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining geospatial datasets, maps, layers, apps, and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of GPS technology, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, model builder, and other geospatial software tools.
• Experience in administering ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise organizations, managing users, content, roles, and implementing security protocols.
• Ability to create, enhance, and document best practices and workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify solutions, and define testing strategies.
• Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for GIS solutions.
• Ability to participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and deliver results within deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the railroad industry.
• Experience in developing integrations using Esri platform APIs and third-party APIs.
