The purpose of the role is to act as a Document Control seconded to a customer, working in the customer’s Woodlands office. The Senior Document Controller will ensure that all project documentation is accurately logged, managed, and issued via the Electronic Document Management System, Excel, and BlueBeam. This role requires a highly organized individual who performs difficult technical support assignments, requiring the application of advanced techniques, and engineering and mathematical principles, in accordance with established standards and procedures. The role works under direct supervision with scope for planning and organization of work methods on assigned projects. Assignments are received in terms of specific objectives and priorities, and work is reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and accomplishment of objectives. The individual may receive supervised/self-training in more advanced discipline work practices/applications. Strong ability in verbal and written communication, advanced understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to the field, and the ability to assist others and troubleshoot issues are essential. A working knowledge of Document Management, Aconex, BlueBeam, and the ability to update documents in BlueBeam is required. Strong ability in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
