About The Position

As a DMP Artist you are responsible for developing the highly realistic matte paintings used in our world class shots, using the latest 2D and 2.5D techniques. You must have a passion for your work and be able to demonstrate your natural artistic skills, along with the ability to create ultra-realistic digital environments in an organised and timely manner. Along with strong artistic skills and an understanding of colour and composition, you must show a good knowledge of Nuke compositing workflows, along with experience of working in a production environment using Shotgun (Shotgrid). You will be in constant communication with the rest of our 2D Department and other disciplines at Outpost, so must have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to problem solve and manage your own time.

Requirements

Strong artistic skills.
Good understanding of color and composition.
Good knowledge of Nuke compositing workflows.
Experience using Shotgun (Shotgrid) in a production environment.
Experience working on High End Film / Episodic TV VFX.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to problem solve.
