This position offers the opportunity to work in a project team environment and lead other engineers and designers using knowledge of engineering and design practices. The role involves preparing/reviewing construction sketches and details for overhead and underground network services (4 kV through 34 kV), structural analyses, short circuit and voltage drop calculations, bill of material cost estimates, and traffic control plans/permit drawings. The engineer will work on project teams for the design of new oil and gas facilities, participate in Process Hazard Analysis and Design Reviews, and work directly with client representatives. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, or reviewing priority feeds, supporting maintenance and recapitalization of distribution components, planning modifications, and developing work packages with construction support. Travel to client and vendor offices, as well as plant site locations, is expected for design reviews, construction coordination, and field verification.
