Career Services is recruiting for an Administrative Staff Analyst NM II to function as a Senior Director. This role will oversee operations and program design for units under Continuous Quality Improvement & Provider Developed Employment Assessments and Service Plans. The Senior Director will provide leadership, administrative guidance, and identify/coordinate strategies to enhance operational workflows and increase competence in work performance to achieve departmental goals and compliance with directives from the Mayors’ Office of Contracts (MOCS), PPB, and Agency rules. The position is responsible for developing and implementing sustainable processes and controls for data collection and review of provider assessments, Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and participant goals. This includes collaborating with internal and external partners on technical support, training, and best practices. The role also establishes and ensures monitoring and evaluation of provider assessments, ISPs, and reporting, collaborating with internal departments and developing CareerStat slides. Additionally, the Senior Director will oversee customer service protocols, communications, reporting activities, Standard Operating Procedures, contractor guidance, and CQI monitoring. The position administers the effectiveness of Assessment Monitoring & Evaluation Reporting and the Continuous Quality Improvement & Special Initiatives Unit, establishing strategies for operational management and goal attainment. Oversight includes regulating time and leave, disciplinary issues, and staff development for the Contract Monitoring and Compliance Unit and Vendor Liaisons Unit, including training and onboarding materials, skill development, and consultation with Labor Relations and Labor Unions. The role involves interacting with high-level City and State personnel, acting as a liaison between contractors and agency personnel, addressing audit findings, and ensuring professional communication. The Senior Director will assist with the development, review, and approval of survey/audit tools to monitor program performance, fiscal health, and compliance, and conduct qualitative reviews of assessments and reports. This role also coordinates activities to promote effective programs and responds to high-level information requests, preparing executive and operational reports and dashboards. Applicants must be permanent in Administrative Staff Analyst civil service title or permanent in a comparable title eligible for 6.1.9 title change.
