The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization whose mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for the children and adults affected by these diseases. Our work is dramatically accelerating the research process through our varied research initiatives; we also provide extensive educational and support resources for patients and their families, medical professionals, and the public. In addition, we lead federal and state-based advocacy campaigns to support medical research funding and improve patient access to care. Position Summary: The Senior Director, Volunteer-Fundraiser-Donor Engagement will lead all aspects of the Foundation’s volunteer engagement program. This individual will lead, design and implement several concurrent cross-department or enterprise-wide projects working with a cross-functional team to ensure leadership alignment and initiatives run efficiently and achieve measurable impact. The Senior Director works in partnership with field, revenue, marketing, mission and IT department stakeholders to build and implement Foundation-wide strategy, trainings, resources, analytics and infrastructure and will oversee project plans and deliverables. The ideal candidate is an experienced program leader and project manager who has successfully worked within nonprofit environments, with donor and revenue campaigns, boards and committees and who is skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve vision.
