The Patient Access Strategy & Planning Senior Director is responsible for five critical areas in the commercial organization: (1) Lead the development and execution of trade channel, pricing, contracting, payer and launch strategies for the specialty branded, generics and sterile & injectable portfolios. This also includes directing Health Economic Outcomes Research (HEOR) initiatives in collaboration with Medical Affairs and leading the development of key payer initiatives related to Payer Value stories to be used with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and Payers. Responsibilities include leading and collaborating with other Patient Access leaders as well as finance, sales, and brand teams. Responsible for working with the National Account team to create business cases for new strategies and “go to market” implementation plans for selected brands. The role will also focus on designing strategic plans around key account programs and improving on the current agreements we have with our partners. (2) Direct business planning processes and reporting features for Patient Access. The responsibility of this role includes directing Patient Access efforts for all brand strategic, tactical and forecasting planning initiatives in addition to being the Patient Access lead for all enterprise-wide Latest Business Evaluations (LBEs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Responsibilities also include directing, operationalizing and management of Patient Access reporting for the specialty branded portfolio and key pricing initiatives. This role includes designing strategic plans, directing business operations, developing organizational metrics and tracking mechanisms, project management, and leading continual improvement efforts by the planning team. (3) Direct and guide all branded channel and payer marketing efforts. This includes specifically, strategy development and rollout of product acquisition, patient support and reimbursement tactics as well as strategic development of all payer initiatives, strategies, and tactics to optimize patient access to therapy for the ENDO Specialty portfolio (including Payer Value stories and Health Economics initiatives). This role includes leading and communicating all patient access marketing efforts with brand, sales, and medical teams, coordinating with Account Management, and PAVP leadership. (4) Lead Patient Access strategies and analysis focused on enterprise-wide business development opportunities. This includes strategies and analysis related to product analogues, payer mix, channel mix, pricing, contracting, coupon programs, HUBs and other Patient Access specific areas. Responsibilities also include the creation and management of product Gross to Net (GTN) Profiles to be used cross functionally. (5) Interface with all Business Development teams and Life Cycle Management teams to provide strategic input, manage all payer related and pricing input needs, provide landscape analysis and launch planning expertise to ensure successful commercialization of new products and LCM growth opportunities. The position requires strong leadership, significant collaboration and the ability to drive cross-functional change both internally and externally. This individual is expected to direct, lead, and manage others while also being able to demonstrate independent strategic thinking, rapid decision making, and work with minimal supervision.
