About The Position

Lion Street is seeking a strategic and business-focused Senior Vice President, Technology to lead the organization's technology vision, digital transformation initiatives, and innovation strategy. This executive will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for aligning technology investments with business objectives, enhancing the advisor experience, and delivering scalable solutions that support growth across the Lion Street network. The Senior Director, Technology will oversee and lead technology strategy, digital transformation initiatives, operations, and innovation. This role serves as a strategic business and technology leader responsible for infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data management, digital transformation, and technology investments to ensure alignment with business objectives, growth, security, and operational excellence. This executive will partner closely with business leaders, advisors, affiliates, and stakeholders to modernize technology capabilities, improve operational efficiency and deliver an intuitive, integrated advisor experience across the company platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
  • Extensive experience overseeing multiple technology functions and large-scale enterprise systems.
  • Proven success leading technology strategy, digital transformation, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience managing large technology budgets, strategic vendor relationships, and enterprise technology portfolios.
  • Demonstrated experience leading directors, senior leaders, and cross-functional technology organizations.
  • Knowledge of implementing AI-enabled solutions, automation technologies, and data-driven business tools.
  • Strong background within financial services, insurance, wealth management, brokerage or advisor distribution organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization’s long-term technology vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Lead technology functions, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data, cloud services, and operations.
  • Establish technology policies, governance, standards, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with strategic priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Drive digital transformation, innovation, operational efficiency, scalability, and service reliability initiatives that simplify and enhance the advisor, affiliate, and employee experience.
  • Oversee cybersecurity, risk management, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Direct technology architecture, system integrations, enterprise applications, budgets, vendor relationships, and investments.
  • Create and maintain a technology roadmap prioritizing business value, advisor experience, operational impact, and scalability.
  • Lead the development of a unified advisor experience that simplifies access to critical systems, information, communications, and service resources.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify pain points and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
