About The Position

JLL is seeking a Senior Director, Sourcing to lead and grow a high-performing Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) team for a large technology client. This role involves direct collaboration with S&P leadership, Account leadership, and clients to manage expectations and team deliverables. The position requires effective management, mentoring, recruitment, and development of Sourcing and Procurement professionals. The Senior Director will provide impactful leadership in a cross-functional and collaborative environment to drive immediate and sustained benefits for the client and JLL. Key responsibilities include driving results through S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, adhering to operational excellence guidelines, and meeting account-level KPIs and goals. The role also oversees compliance and controls, develops innovative sourcing strategies, and identifies opportunities for improvement, while proactively managing internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired.
  • People management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25%).
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a high-performing Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) team for a large technology client.
  • Manage, mentor, recruit, and develop a team of Sourcing and Procurement professionals.
  • Drive results through S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, and managing to operational excellence guidelines.
  • Meet account-level KPIs and goals.
  • Oversee compliance and controls, including Contract and COI compliance, RFx/Process Improvements, Diverse Spend, and adherence to the Procurement Playbook.
  • Develop new and innovative sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities.
  • Oversee annual sourcing plan development, actively manage the plan with the business, and execute against it.
  • Conduct annual benchmarking of existing 3rd Party Contractor spend against external data points.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
  • Manage the 3rd Party Supplier Performance Management Program, including developing scorecards, sharing results, and conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Ensure all sourcing technology tools are leveraged across all assigned accounts.
  • Partner closely with operations teams by providing management, detailed instruction, and follow-up for standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.
  • Develop and maintain a systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier performance, and sourcing effectiveness, and communicate these results to the business.
  • Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top S&P talent.
  • Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
  • Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.
  • Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress, and developmental goals.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture within and outside of direct reports.
  • Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plan are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Account Director and other client leadership.
  • Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of the business, including best practices and innovation.
  • Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies.
  • Effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best-in-class performance across associated accounts.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including Corporate Legal and Risk Management, to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved.
  • Continually manage/assess suppliers through the established supplier performance management program.
