About The Position

Checkout.com is seeking a leader for its Americas Regional Marketing to oversee and scale end-to-end marketing efforts across the United States. This role will drive regional performance by aligning with local commercial leadership and collaborating with global functional peers to adapt and optimize key programs like ABM, PR, and Field Marketing/Events for the US market. The incoming leader will manage a growing team and optimize ROI on a significant budget. This person will dual-report to the Head of North America Revenue leader and Global CMO, working closely with broader Marketing and Commercial teams to shape and execute the go-to-market strategy focused on acquisition, retention, and expansion.

Requirements

  • Over a decade in strategic B2B marketing, with a focus on enterprise marketing and events management.
  • Extensive experience in payments, fintech, or complex enterprise software sectors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence buy-in from senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of exceptional leadership and team management, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team of marketing professionals and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and drive alignment and execution of marketing initiatives across departments.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop innovative marketing strategies, explore new approaches, and champion experimentation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilize marketing technology tools to measure the impact and ROI of marketing activities.
  • High-proficiency in leveraging martech tools for performance and ROI tracking, as well as turning insights into tangible actions.
  • Constantly on the hunt for innovative strategies and eager to test new tactics to connect with and provide value to our merchants.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for being an integral part in a dynamic team, seamlessly collaborating with colleagues from all corners of the globe to make an impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver integrated go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals for new customer acquisition, upsell, and retention.
  • Act as a trusted partner for executive stakeholders to develop and execute regional marketing strategies that drive impactful outcomes and contribute to business objectives.
  • Lead the development of innovative marketing strategies across all regional marketing efforts, exploring new approaches and championing experimentation.
  • Create cohesive and impactful regional plans by working across Commercial, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, and global marketing teams.
  • Manage and grow a team of marketers, fostering a high-performance environment built on trust, ownership, and continuous development.
  • Allocate resources strategically to maximize ROI and support the region’s commercial priorities, accountable for delivering high impact programs.
  • Stay abreast of market dynamics and industry trends, ensuring marketing efforts align with global strategies and local preferences.
  • Measure performance, and use insights to adjust strategy and improve outcomes, communicating results to stakeholders.
