About The Position

The Senior Director of Professional Services at SS&C Technologies Inc. will be responsible for leading and scaling our Professional Services organization, ensuring the successful delivery of complex enterprise solutions, and driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This role involves strategic planning, operational excellence, and fostering strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in professional services, consulting, or project management within the enterprise software industry.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and scaling professional services teams for a technology company.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software implementations and achieving high customer satisfaction.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L for a professional services organization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive operational excellence, and manage change effectively.
  • Experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and professional services automation (PSA) tools.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Professional Services organization, aligning with overall company objectives and market demands.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of professional services consultants, project managers, and technical experts.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of professional services engagements, from pre-sales support and scoping to implementation, configuration, and post-go-live optimization.
  • Establish and maintain best practices, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and scalability of service delivery.
  • Manage P&L for the Professional Services division, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients, acting as an executive escalation point and trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer experience and identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the professional services function, leveraging feedback and industry trends.
  • Negotiate and manage complex professional services contracts, statements of work, and service level agreements.
  • Represent SS&C Technologies, Inc. at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
