The role sets the global direction for GxP and business learning, translates PDS priorities and regulatory expectations into scalable solutions, and partners with site and functional learning teams to establish consistent standards alongside fit-for-purpose local execution. The position leads the evolution from process-centric training to an integrated business capability system grounded in risk, performance, simplification, digital enablement, and measurable outcomes. It advances AI-enabled learning, inspection readiness, and learning governance, while building a high-performing global organization that develops talent, enables subject matter experts, and promotes learning, quality, growth, and continuous improvement. The Senior Director reports to the Chief Learning Officer and is an active senior member of the Enterprise Learning leadership team. The role has enterprise-level accountability for aligning PDS Learning strategy, operating model, portfolio, and investments with PDS, Global Quality, Research and Development, and enterprise priorities. It exercises independent judgment on matters affecting GxP compliance, inspection readiness, governance, technology, resources, service delivery, and organizational capability. Decisions balance patient and quality risk, business impact, people needs, cost, capacity, and timely execution; poor decisions could affect compliance, inspections, workforce qualification, business continuity, productivity, financial performance, and company reputation. The position may require travel within the United States and internationally, up to approximately 20% of the time. Work is performed in a typical office environment using standard office equipment. Work is generally seated, with standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate, with no abnormal noise, dust, or similar conditions.
