About The Position

Risepoint is seeking a Senior Director to lead and reshape its Partner Data organization, which connects more than 100 university partners to accurate, timely student and program data. The role will develop two teams: Partner Data Integrations & Operations, responsible for case resolution, monitoring, reconciliation, and recurring processes; and Partner Enablement Data, responsible for partner onboarding, relaunches, and expertise in partner systems and integrations. The Senior Director will establish operating models, service standards, escalation rules, repeatable integration playbooks, and a KPI scorecard. The role will lead automation and process redesign, identify systemic issues and product improvements, and own partner data strategy, including priorities and investment choices for validation and monitoring tools, data mapping, file formats, and integrations. The position also serves as a technical partner to university IT and SIS teams during onboarding and works across Partner, Data, Product, Technology, Enterprise Data, Partner Support, Student Success Center, and CRM teams to advance enterprise-wide improvements. The successful candidate brings technical fluency in SIS systems, integrations, data platforms, and CRM, alongside hands-on operations leadership. They will hire, develop, and lead managers and teams, operate autonomously, influence senior-level decisions, and report on case trends, launch progress, and team performance. Success includes faster and more consistent case resolution, reliable on-time launches, reduced manual and repeat work, improved partner satisfaction, and measurable improvements to partner data products and systems.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years leading data operations, technical support, or partner/customer success teams, including at least 3 years managing managers or multiple teams.
  • Technical fluency with data systems such as Snowflake and Databricks; integrations such as file feeds, SFTP, and APIs; and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Experience in ed-tech, higher education, or another partner-based, data-intensive industry.
  • Experience with SIS systems such as Slate, Banner, and Workday.
  • Comfort serving as the client-facing point of contact in technical onboarding conversations.
  • Track record of building or restructuring an operations team and establishing intake, case management, and service-level standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in partner onboarding, implementation, or customer launch and migration management.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Jira-based work management, including epics, sprints, and backlog prioritization.
  • Experience partnering with Enterprise Data or engineering teams on system enhancements and data-quality initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Product teams to translate operational or partner pain points into product requirements, with a product mindset in an operations role.

Responsibilities

  • Build the operating model, leadership capability, and standards for Partner Data Operations, including processes for case triage and resolution, monitoring, and reconciliation.
  • Set service-level standards and escalation rules for the Partner Data Integrations & Operations team in collaboration with Enterprise Data, Partner Support, SSC, and CRM.
  • Drive automation and process redesign to reduce repeat, low-judgment case volume.
  • Establish a product mindset so case resolution and monitoring work identifies patterns and root causes that lead to broader improvements in partner data systems and integrations.
  • Stand up Data Integration Engineering to work with partner SIS systems and create repeatable integration playbooks for each system.
  • Serve as a strategic, partner-facing technical lead for new partner onboarding, working with partner IT and SIS teams to scope integrations and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop the Partner Enablement Data team as the subject matter expert on partner systems, data, and workflows, and advise Partner Management and partners on integrations.
  • Champion architectural improvements and shape cross-functional roadmaps and priorities for partner data architecture.
  • Own partner data strategy, including priorities, investments, trade-offs, validation and monitoring tooling, and standardization of file formats, data mapping, and integrations.
  • Lead, hire, and develop the Partner Data Integrations & Operations organization across two teams.
  • Report case trends, launch progress, and team performance to senior leadership, and own the partner data operations KPI scorecard.
  • Operate autonomously, identify issues, drive solutions, and influence organizational decisions through data-driven reasoning and executive presence.
