About The Position

The Senior Director, Operations leads the development and execution of operational strategies across multiple divisions, translating vision into actionable plans that enhance performance and customer experience. By leveraging data analysis and industry benchmarks, the position ensures alignment with organizational goals while managing budgets and resources effectively. The Senior Director fosters innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to support sustainable growth and superior service delivery. The team leads efforts to ensure the stability and reliability of the Last Mile ecosystem by proactively identifying, preventing, and resolving defects at scale. Collaborating across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Support, the team drives platform stability, launch quality, testing, monitoring, and defect governance. Their focus is on delivering seamless experiences and building trust across the platform. This group champions operational excellence and continuous improvement, aligning business strategies with measurable outcomes to support efficient, high-quality service delivery and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience driving operational strategies across multiple business units.
  • Expertise in developing and executing multi-year plans to improve performance and customer experience.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects with complex timelines.
  • Demonstrated skill in analyzing data to inform business decisions and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Experience in process improvement and implementing innovative solutions to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 6 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
  • 4 years’ supervisory experience.
